Carole Crowe, Author
Writing on midlife, intuition, identity, inner knowing and the spaces, within us and around us, that help women come home to themselves.
Alongside her work as an interior designer, Carole Crowe writes about the emotional and intuitive journeys that shape how women live, create and become.
Her writing explores midlife, burnout, manifestation, personal truth, spaciousness, and the quiet courage it takes to stop performing life and begin living from a deeper place.
These themes are also woven through her work at Carole Crowe Interior Design, where she designs homes from the inside out, creating spaces that support who clients are becoming.
The Feminine Arts
Demystifying manifestation, intuition and intention
Carole is proud to be a co-author of The Feminine Arts, a collaborative book exploring manifestation, intuition and intention through real women’s stories.
Her chapter is about learning to trust the feeling, the quiet inner knowing that often arrives before logic has caught up. It reflects on what happens when we stop trying to control everything and begin to create from a more grounded, aligned and intuitive place.
The book reached No.1 on Amazon across three categories, and all proceeds from the book go to Bali Street Mums.
Wise Women Don’t Whisper
My Midlife Awakening
Carole’s chapter in Wise Women Don’t Whisper was written not as a designer, but as a woman navigating midlife, burnout and the quiet ache of disconnection.
It is a raw and honest reflection on losing herself, finding her voice again, and understanding that midlife is not an ending, but a threshold into a more truthful way of living.
This is the story behind the woman, the designer, and the deeper work she now brings into homes, spaces and client journeys.
Carole will also be contributing to Women Who Need Space, a forthcoming collaboration book exploring the honest stories of women and their need for space.
She begins writing her contribution in June 2026, with publication expected in late autumn.
This feels like one of her most aligned pieces of writing yet.
For Carole, space is not simply physical. It is emotional, creative, energetic and deeply necessary. Space, silence and stillness have become central to how she thinks, creates, heals and leads.
Her chapter will explore what happens when women finally allow themselves room to breathe, to hear themselves again, and to stop shaping their lives around constant noise, expectation or over-giving.
This theme also sits at the heart of her interior design work. Carole believes women do not only need time and emotional space, they need homes that physically support that need too, through rooms that allow them to pause, restore, gather themselves and feel held.

Writing, interiors and coming home
Carole’s writing and design work are deeply connected.
Whether through words or interiors, her work begins with the inner life: how people feel, what they are carrying, what they are ready to release, and who they are becoming next.
Through Carole Crowe Interior Design and The Carole Method™, she translates that inner truth into homes that support calm, freedom, joy and emotional belonging, creating physical spaces that help people feel more at home in themselves.
